JEFFREY GERSTEN, PsyD, is a graduate of the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Having worked in schools, private practice, community mental health settings and hospitals, he holds fifteen years of experience in the field. He is on staff at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, NorthShore University Health System in Skokie, St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, and Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago.

SILVIA BOZZANO BECK, PhD | Psychologist | Chicago IL | Evanston IL
SILVIA BOZZANO BECK, PhD, Clinical Director at the Gersten Center, received her doctorate from DePaul University and completed her postgraduate training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She has worked as a clinician for fifteen years in private practice, hospitals and community mental health settings. She is on staff at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park.

MICHAEL B. IGARAVIDEZ, PsyD, is a graduate from Illinois School of Professional Psychology and received his doctoral training at UIC Medical Center. He has fifteen years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults covering an array of behavioral health issues.

MARK RAUSER, PsyD, received his doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and completed his doctoral internship at Jewish Children's Bureau. He works with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with an array of mental health issues. He has experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including psychiatric hospitals, public and therapeutic schools, geriatrics, child welfare, community mental health, and private practice.

CATHERINE BENOIST, PsyD, received her doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She has worked in a variety of settings including residential treatment facilities, therapeutic day schools, college counseling centers, and community mental health organizations. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families on a wide range of mental health issues.

ANDREW McKENZIE, PsyD | Psychologist | Chicago IL | Evanston IL
ANDREW McKENZIE, PsyD, received his Master's degree from Northwestern University and his Doctorate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He completed his postdoctoral training at Allendale Association, a residential treatment center for adolescents. He also has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, college counseling centers, and psychosocial rehabilitation centers.

KATIE FRUHAUFF, PsyD | Psychologist | Chicago IL | Evanston IL
KATIE FRUHAUFF, PsyD, received her doctorate from George Fox University's Graduate School of Psychology. She completed her doctoral internship and postdoctoral residency at Allendale Association, a residential facility and day treatment school for children with behavioral and emotional issues. She has a wide range of experience including working in a college, a community mental health center, and the Oregon State Hospital.

MELISSA SOBEL, PsyD | Psychologist | Chicago IL | Evanston IL
MELISSA SOBEL, PsyD, received her doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She has seven years of experience in private practice with adolescents, families and couples. Dr. Sobel has experience working in schools, psychiatric hospitals and community mental health.

JAMEEKA MOORE, PsyD, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who earned her doctorate from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has experience treating children, adolescents, and adults across multiple modalities including individual, family and couples counseling. Additionally, Dr. Moore has experience working in multiple community-focused settings including primary, secondary, and professional academic school systems, along with community mental health, inpatient psychiatric, and private outpatient sites.

ELLA BLUMER, PsyD, received her doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families presenting with a wide range of mental health issues. Dr. Blumer has worked in a variety of settings, including schools, psychiatric hospitals, refugee assistance agencies, college counseling centers, and community mental health organizations.

AMBER BARGER, PsyD, received her doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with an array of mental health issues in a variety of settings including college counseling centers, hospitals, residential treatment, and community mental health.

MEGAN REDDY, PhD | Psychologist | Chicago IL | Evanston IL
MEGAN REDDY, PhD, is a graduate of Alliant International University's California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco, CA. Dr. Reddy has worked in community mental health, private group practice, schools, university counseling, and long-term care facilities. Trained as a generalist, she has experience treating varied psychological and behavioral concerns with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups.

STACEY LIPSON, PsyD, is a graduate of the Adler School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Lipson has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families presenting with a wide range of difficulties and concerns. With experience providing services in English and Spanish, she has worked in various settings, such as community mental health centers, hospitals, primary care settings, and outpatient clinics. Dr. Lipson is also an adjunct professor at the Adler School of Professional Psychology.

MITCHELL DORNFELD, PsyD | Psychologist | Chicago IL | Evanston IL
MITCHELL DORNFELD, PsyD, received his doctorate from Loyola University Maryland and completed his pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral residency at Morrison Child and Family Services in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Dornfeld works with children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with a broad range of mental health and behavioral health issues. He has experience working in a variety of clinical settings including schools, a pediatric hospital, outpatient clinics, and community mental health centers.

JENNIFER MORALES, PsyD, is a graduate of the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children who present with a wide range of clinical issues. She has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient programs, community mental health centers, and private practice working with individuals, couples, and families.

INBAR GREENFELD-TAIRY, PsyD, received her doctorate from the Illinois School of School of Professional Psychology. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at New Hope Academy, a therapeutic High School serving children and their families dealing with an array of emotional and behavioral issues. Dr. Greenfeld-Tairy has experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults in a variety of settings including inpatient programs, therapeutic schools and private practice.

CHAMMIE FREEDMAN, PsyD, received her doctorate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health, college counseling, and inpatient programs.

DANIELLE DRAGON, PsyD, received her doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and completed her doctoral internship at Primary Care Psychology Associates.  She works with children, adolescents and adults dealing with an array of mental health concerns.  She has experience working in a variety of clinical settings including hospitals, therapeutic day schools and private outpatient sites.


ANNA GEORGATOS-MELANIS, PsyD, received her doctorate from Adler School of Professional Psychology. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults who present with a wide range of concerns. Additionally, with experience providing services in English and in Greek, she has worked in various settings such as inpatient hospitals, therapeutic day schools, private practice and community mental health centers.

YONATAN ROSENBLUM, PsyD, received his doctorate from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He completed his doctoral internship and postdoctoral training at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, Oakland, Behavioral Pediatrics Clinic. He has experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including therapeutic day schools, pediatric hospitals, and outpatient community mental health centers.

PATRICIA M. VILLARREAL, PsyD, received her doctorate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Chicago IL. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Behavioral Health Services and also has experience working in a variety of other clinical settings including psychiatric inpatient, community mental health, and college counseling. In these various settings, Patricia has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of mental health issues, providing individual, group, couples and family therapy in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Laderberg has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of mental health issues in private practice and primary care settings. In addition, Dr. Laderberg is experienced in conducting psychological and neuropsychological evaluations. She assumes an integrative, collaborative approach to therapy and has a special interest in the use of mindfulness strategies.

LINDSEY C. HOVAN, PsyD, received her master’s and doctorate from Roosevelt University, and completed her doctoral internship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Dr. Hovan has experience treating individuals across the life span in a variety of settings, including a multi-disciplinary trauma center, an outpatient and in-home foster care program, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and two large urban medical centers. In order to individualize her approach to fit each client’s unique concerns and situations, Dr. Hovan utilizes multiple modalities including CBT, DBT, Family-Systems, Trauma-Focused interventions, as well as relational approaches.

JULIE BENITEZ serves as Medical Office Administrator at the Gersten Center for Behavioral Health. Julie has over 7 years of experience in the medical industry with a background in medical billing, administrative training, and clerical support roles. Julie manages billing processes, ensuring appropriate billing set up for clinicians and their clients, provides additional IT support, and welcomes new employees to the organization by conducting orientation.

OFELIA OLIVAS joined Gersten Center with a broad range of administrative expertise, acquired over the past 10 years working in healthcare and customer support roles. As an Administrator, Ofelia manages the administrative needs of our patients and clinicians in the Foster Medical Pavilion office located in Chicago. In a close working relationship with the billing department, Ofelia provides organizational support for all patient related updates or changes and provides assistance to the clinical staff with quality reporting initiatives.

As an Office Administrator, Hattie’s responsibilities include providing excellent client assistance and administrative support to the clinicians in our Melrose Park office, handling of payment audits, and manages supply inventory to all office locations.
