Golf Psychologist

Golf, IL 60029

Golf, Illinois, is in Cook county. The Village of Golf is directly north of Morton Grove, west of Skokie and 14 milies north of Chicago, Illinois.

The Village of Golf is generally regarded as an "in-home" community. Golf is known for its anual events such as the Golf Steak Fry, which is a gathering of Golf's residents to celebrate, in which members of the community bring their own cuts of steak to grill at the gathering.

Along with the Steak Fry, Golf residents can be seen outside on October 31st celebrating Halloween, in which children, and their respective parents, walk door-to-door for candy and other treats. The most prominent time, by far, in which Golf residents come out of their homes is on July 4th, for the Independence Day celebration. The day is filled with festivities, several of which include a mini-marathon for the villagers in the morning; Golf's very own parade in the streets; a potluck dinner, in which each resident has the responsibility of preparing a dish; and a full-scale fireworks display at Diedrich Park, the local park of the village.

As of the 2000 census, Golf had 451 people, 156 households, and 133 families residing in the village.
